Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) was founded in 1972 as a part-time venture, offering car servicing and tyres and has a history of providing customers with a friendly, local service whilst encompassing big brand choice, quality, value and peace of mind.

Today, Micheldever Group is the largest independent wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling over six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) every year. Micheldever Group is managed by a team headed by Jon Cowles and is part of Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd.

The Protyre retail chain, currently with 183 garages including Protyre Motorsport, continues to gain geographic coverage in the UK through new acquisitions. Protyre is the UK’s fastest growing supplier and fitter of tyres and automotive services.
