Dunlop have been at the forefront of innovation since 1888, when they invented the first pneumatic tyre. The present day sees Dunlop utilising their experience on the racetrack to offer high performance tyres to the modern automotive market. Dunlop has designed technologies for motorsports that maximise precision, control and stability. Distinctive Dunlop technologies include Run On Flat tyres that can continue to be driven at speeds of up to 50mph, as well as jointless belt hybrid overlays that reduce circumferential deformation at high speeds. Such innovations mean that Dunlop tyres can offer increased safety and stability alongside a longer product lifespan by reducing wear and tear. The improved handling and cornering capacities of Dunlop tyres also promise a high degree of road feedback for an intuitive driving experience.
