Description

We recommend Dunlop's SportMaxx GT tyre for drivers of high-performance vehicles. About Dunlop

The history of Dunlop Tyres begins in 1890 in Dublin and the invention by John Boyd Dunlop of the pneumatic tyre. That innovation helped to propel the fledgling brand into the front rank of tyre manufacturers, where it has remained ever since. Today it has a global presence under the management of several different companies. In 1985 the Japanese company Sumitomo Rubber Industries bought the rights to manufacture and sell tyres under the Dunlop brand, and in 1987 adopted the name for its UK subsidiary, Dunlop Tyres Ltd.
