Safe Tyres, Save Lives

During TyreSafe month Protyre will be performing up to 300,000 Winter safety checks in public car parks across the UK.
Jeffreys High Performance Tyres - Team Protyre in Warrington attended a Winter Tyre Safety event with Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service on behalf of TyreSafe on October 10th 2017. Protyre technicians we’re offering the FREE Winter safety checks to those visiting Sainsburys Supermarket, Chapelford between 10am and 1pm in the public car park.
One customer Miss Anne Haymer (pictured) visited the pop up garage and was advised she needed 4 new tyres. Arranging a booking the same day, Miss Haymer visited the centre the next day and purchased the 4 tyres.
In a studyTyreSafe ran in conjunction with Highways England last year found that 27% of cars – or some 10 million vehicles – are driving with at least one tyre at or below the legal tread depth of 1.6mm. If you are caught with illegal tyres you can be fined up to £2,500 per tyre.
