On Thursday 2nd November Protyre Poole hosted the monthly Bournemouth & District Group of Advanced Motorists meeting.

The Bournemouth & District Group of Advanced Motorists are one of over 200 groups across the country run as independent charities affiliated to The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM).

Their qualified observers help and guide motorists to the standard required to take an advanced driving test.
 
Their meetings cover:
  • Dealing with hazards in a safe and systematic way
  • Improving observation and planning
  • Cornering at an optimum and safe speed
  • Overtaking safely and confidently
  • Improving car control

Driving in an Eco-friendly manner
The event was a real hit with more than 20 attendees on the evening who took away some Protyre goodies as well as a world of knowledge from their local garage.
