On a beautiful sunny Spring afternoon Protyre Plymouth were at the BMAD (Bikes Making A Difference) show in Paignton.

The show was started in 2002 by founders Kelvin and Jayne Halloran to raise valuable money for local charities and make a difference in the community.

BMAD is now one of the biggest biker, music and beer festival in the South West of England and also runs regular Bike Nights from June until the end of September on Wednesday evenings.

The show not only showcased a selection of amazing bikes, but games including a strongest man and woman competition and held a raffle. Protyre donated a couple of prizes towards the raffle and are pleased to congratulate our two winners:

  • Mr Stokes from Northampton who has won a pair of Michelin Tyres!
  • Mr Nick Martin from Newton who has won a pair of tickets to the UK round of the World Super Bike Championships!
If you would like to join the BMAD community at their next event, you can read more about them on their website

Protyre alone managed to raise £130 for the charity Devon Freewheelers (Bloodrunners) on the day.

Right now you can get up to £40 cash back on Bridgestone motorbike tyres*
