Independent recognition is what counts


I am a very proud dad.  My son plays centre forward for his school Under 10’s team and he is a great footballer – at least that is what I keep telling everyone in protyre autocare who will listen.  But something changed last week.  Last weekend my son’s team won the Portsmouth Schools Year 5 Cup!  Suddenly rather than me having to tell everyone how good he was, here was hard evidence that what I had been saying was true – he’d won his first piece of silverware!  That makes me an even prouder dad.

Then last month, something changed.  I won my own Cup Final – our website won an award.  And not just any award.  protyre autocare was awarded – by a panel of independent judges – the best B2C Website of the Year.  This is simply incredible.  A group of people – that I almost certainly do not know – had looked at the work that my team and I have done, and judged the website the best consumer website – in the whole country!  Here was hard proof – silverware – to back up my claims.

And when I look at what the judges said, I felt truly vindicated – and proud:
