Celebrating 20 years at the Nürburgring with Falken

Falken will once again be sponsoring the ADAC TOTAL 24-Hour Race, held at Nürburgring from June 20th – 23rd 2019. Since joining the event as a partner in 1999, Falken has consistently increased its involvement.

Over 400 tyre retailers and around 50 journalists from key European markets will be hosted by a variety of hospitality providers and can expect an exciting weekend’s racing at the oldest and most famous part of the Nürburgring race track, "Grüne Hölle". Fans and guests will not only be able to browse the latest tyre products but will also have the chance get drivers autographs, as well as taking part in a number of additional activities.
 
The race will be broadcast onto a screen at the trade stand and there will be a range of Falken merchandise on sale in the paddock. The Falken Drift Show will be in the historic paddock with the Falken grid girls on the starting grid.
 
For this season, the Falken Motorsport team will be unchanged from the tried-and-tested driver line-up. Austrians Martin Ragginger and Klaus Bachler will be taking their places on the starting grid in the Porsche 911 GT3R (991.2), supported by the Porsche factory drivers Dirk Werner (D) and Jörg Bergmeister (D). Falken drivers Peter Dumbreck (GB) and Alexandre Imperatori (CH) will be taking turns driving the BMW M6 GT3 with the two BMW factory drivers Stef Dusseldorp (NL) and Jens Klingmann (D). Last year, the 24-hour race concluded with both Falken racing cars securing top 15 finishing spots, the Falken Porsche finishing in 9th place and the Falken BMW finishing in 15th place.
 
The race will be covered by multiple film crews with live streaming from the cockpits, as well as from other locations, at both http://www.24hlive.falkentyre.com and on Falken’s Facebook page. The events can be extensively followed on FALKEN’s Facebook, Instagram and YouTube channels, as well as on the FALKEN website falkentyre.com, just some of the measures being taken to activate the fan base.
