Throttle up and enjoy the reassuring exhaust note rumble, select first gear on the five-speed box and accelerate away with the unmistakable feel of a Harley.
Handling is a real pleasure and, although the forks and shocks are non-adjustable unlike the Ducati Monster with which the Bulldog is often compared, the overall ride quality, cornering and road handling are exceptional. Making the most of the torque curve and the low centre of gravity of a bike that weighs in at a healthy 229.5kg to achieve a smooth, controlled ride, owners can enjoy the fusion of Japanese functionality and Italian style.
