Although the four-stroke engine gave the bike reliability it also meant lower performance than some of its two-stroke competition. As a result, the CJ 360 wasn’t a good seller when it was new. It’s quite easy to tell the year of a CJ 360 T; 1976 models were available in a choice of either blue or red finish, but ‘77 bikes are red only with orange stripes on the fuel tank and the rear cowling.
