Electric Car servicing at Protyre Autocentres

We're living in the age of electric vehicles. With the government calling for all new cars to be emissions-free by 2035, going electric is the obvious futureproofing choice for UK motorists.
Electric models offer all the functionality and practicality of a diesel or petrol car, create zero exhaust emissions, and make low-cost motoring possible. It's hardly surprising that over half of motorists under the age of 50 say they're likely to switch to electric in the next 10 years.
With our state-of-the-art technology at Protyre, we now offer comprehensive servicing for all-electric and hybrid cars. If you've recently bought an electric car, it's time to book an electric car service. Drive a plug-in hybrid? Our hybrid service could be just right.

Yes. At Protyre, we understand the unique risks of working with high-voltage systems. Our technicians undergo rigorous training, which includes IMI accreditation, to ensure they can safely service hybrid and electric vehicles to industry-leading standards.
We're committed to working safely with electric vehicles. If you have any questions about how we work with electric and hybrid cars, please chat with our friendly mechanics at your local Autocentre.
The cost of our electric car servicing is just £118.80.
When you book an EV service near you with Protyre, you can get an MOT for just £20. Simply book a service and MOT together to benefit from this fantastic discount.
To maintain its safety and preserve its market-leading efficiency, you should keep your electric car serviced at the recommended intervals. Most EVs have a longer service interval than conventional fuel alternatives, but some models need to be serviced more frequently.
If you drive a Kia e-Nero, for example, you should book an electric service for every 10,000 miles you drive or every 12 months – whichever comes soonest. As with any car, use your best judgement. If you've been driving for months without maintaining your car, it could be time to book an electric service near you.
Along with its annual mileage, its overall condition should inform how often to service an electric car. For the most accurate details relating to your vehicle, we recommend checking your owner's manual.
Due to electric cars' high-voltage components with live currents, only our most highly specialised mechanics carry out electric car servicing. Currently, we offer our electric car service in a handful of Protyre Autocentres but the number is growing all the time to meet increasing demand.
No matter where you live, get in touch with your nearest Protyre Autocentre to find out whether we can service your EV. If we can't offer it now, we'll be working to provide you with this local service as soon as possible. To find out more, give us a call on 0330 818 5201.
