Jeep Wrangler Tyres for Sale
The Jeep Wrangler is a four-wheel drive off road vehicle that comes in both compact and mid sizes and has been developed by Jeep since 1986. The vehicle is currently in its fourth generation, the Wrangler JL, which was released in 2018. The car is clearly based on the World War II Jeep that was developed by Civilian Jeeps (CJ) from the 1940s until the 1980s.
Today, the model continues to use a separate body and frame, has a tapered nose complete with flared arches, rigid axles at both the rear and front and has a fold-flat windshield, all things that were originally seen in the CJ Jeeps. The Wrangler, however, was redesigned in order to be more comfortable on the roads, with upgraded suspension and interior compared with the CJ models.
Debuting in 1986 after the discontinuation of the CJ series, the Wrangler was revised ten years later and completely redesigned twenty years after in 2006. The latest model, known as the JL, was unveiled in 2017 and features a more modern interior, easier to fold flat windshield and soft top designs and redesigned transmission. It comes in both 2-door and 4-door variations and is exclusively a four-wheel drive model. Both the windshield and doors are made of aluminium, making them easier to remove.
The Wrangler has won an array of awards over the years including:
Business Week - Most Iconic Car of the Last 20 Years - 2009
Forbes - listed the convertible Jeep Wrangler as the car with the fourth highest resale value
