The new Q5 is for those who love the Audi Q7 but are looking for something a little cheaper and more compact. The Audi Q5 is a practical family car, with a smaller carbon footprint and lower driving position than its larger brother. It's more manoeuvrable and more city-friendly by far. There are five engines available for the Q5 4x4 which include the 45 TFSI Quattro, 40 TDI Quattro, 2.0T FSI Quattro, 3.0 TDI Quattro and the SQ5 Quattro.
The car's advanced suspension keeps it upright through twists and turns, gripping the road well thanks to four-wheel drive in all models. This offers great traction when accelerating out of corners, even when conditions are wet. The engines are also pleasantly hushed meaning your ride is one of the quietest for a car of this size.
Six airbags come as standard, in addition to AEB (automatic emergency braking). At any speed up to 52 mph the AEB system warns drivers if they're at risk of hitting another car or a pedestrian and applies the brakes if they don't respond in time.
